One of the reasons we chose Whitmuir Hall as the venue for our wedding was so that there would be plenty of affordable accommodation in a single location. We booked all of the self-catering accommodation (accommodating roughly 80 people) for the Friday-Sunday, and the wedding ceremony took place in the grounds in front of the main house within a fully lined marquee.

The accommodation at Whitmuir Hall is divided into a number of cottages and apartments. Each cottage and apartment contains:

• Fully fitted kitchen consisting of fridge/freezer, oven and hob, extractor, microwave, toaster, kettle, complete supply of cutlery, glassware, crockery and utensils.
• Bathroom with bath and/or shower.
• Panel heaters and storage heaters (metered heating costs are payable at the end of your stay).
• Colour television.
• Continental quilts.

In addition there are shared laundry facilities and a shared payphone on site.

Rooms are situated in three locations within the grounds - Whitmuir Hall, Abbey Court and Coach House Court.

All apartments are non smoking.

During the weekend there was also unlimited access to the heated indoor swimming pool and sauna. There is also a games room with a pool table, table tennis, TV, and a variety of board games.

Outside, there are 30 acres of wooded grounds and lawns to explore; enjoy a relaxing picnic or barbecue.
